200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Join Tam Burke, Matt Gasmovic, SOL 19 Teachers, and Guest Teachers on a journey into the practice of yoga.

Training Overview

Join SOL 19 this spring for our upcoming 200-hour Yoga Teacher training. This yoga teacher training is open to all levels; we only ask that you come with an open heart and a commitment to deepen your practice. This program welcomes all practitioners, including those ready to teach, and those who would like to deepen their personal practice and knowledge of yoga without the intention to teach.

Our training is more than the physicality of yoga, as we will dive deep into the roots of yoga, and apply these ancient teachings to your practice and daily life. This training will go beyond teaching you how to become a yoga teacher, and will encourage you to step out of your fear-based stories to empower you to step into a practice of self-love – this training is a journey within. We at SOL 19 believe that our spiritual journey is never a destination but a constant evolution.

Our 200-hour program will concentrate on Power Vinyasa, however, this training will introduce you to other styles of yoga so that you may step into a lifelong practice.

Each day students will live their yoga through meditation, breathwork, practice, group discussion, lectures, workshops, practice teaching, and more. We’d like to ensure you that not everyone who joins our programs wants to become a yoga teacher, however, we will equip you with the tools you need to explore your own practice and the ability to guide others through flow. This program is a wonderful reminder, that above all else we are ALL students of the practice, especially if you desire to teach afterward.

Our Program Curriculum Includes:

  • The History of Yoga
  • Introduction to Sanskrit
  • Meditation and Pranayama
  • Pranayama

  • Intelligent Sequencing of a Class
  • Practice Teaching
  • Adjusting (Verbal & Hands-on)

If you have the desire to deepen your practice and learn more about yoga, then you are ready for this training. No amount of experience can prepare you for your first YTT.

This is like when people say I can’t do yoga, I’m not flexible enough… but that is why we go to yoga! The same applies for YTT – how will you advance your practice without training? This program has NO requirement for physical capabilities.

If not now, then when?

There is never a perfect time. You will figure it out. The one constant about life is that it’s always changing. If you feel ready now, figure out a way to make it happen now.

This is very common – but our programs are designed to help you deepen your personal practice, afterall Yoga Teachers are just students who have committed to being students for life. This teacher training has an incredible emphasis on personal evolution.

We offer at least one scholarship for $500 off tuition – we believe that yoga should be accessible to everyone. Contact us here for additional information.

We also offer payment plans and are happy to work with you.

This is an experiential learning program, meaning that all in-person hours are important to the completion of the program and a requirement for graduation. We understand that extenuating circumstances come up, so in the event of absences we have the following guidelines in place:

  • If a student misses any in-person hours, it is their responsibility to get the missed information covered from one of their peers:
    • Depending on the content missed, the student will then be assigned additional work to make up for the in-person hours missed
  • If a student misses a specialty lecture that cannot be made up in the above format, they must do the following:
    • Schedule a private make up session with the facilitation team at a cost of $75/hour
    • In the event that a student misses a module that cannot be replicated or privately scheduled, this student will join this module in the next round of 200-hour (if there is availability)
  • If a student misses more than 20 in-person hours, they will need to retake the program at full tuition cost (unless otherwise specified with the Program Director & Program Manager) in order to receive certification.
