Training Overview

This 25-hour continuing education training and immersion is for teachers and practitioners looking to deepen their practice and understanding of the practice of Acrobatic yoga.

Get ready to take your practice from Earth to Air! In this practice intensive you will learn about and build upon the foundations of practicing Acrobatic yoga.

This training is a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training module. You do not need to be enrolled in our 300-hour program to take this training.

Curriculum

  • Advanced Asana breakdown
  • Introductory Acro postures, Lunar and Solar.
  • Dynamics of flying, basing, and spotting
  • Safety and alignment
  • The art of feedback and co-practicing

FAQs

No! This practice, while challenging, is available to Acro practitioners new or seasoned. We do, however, recommend having some form of yoga or movement practice before participating in this training. We will begin with the fundamentals, and build from there.

Yes, this training is wonderful for students and teachers alike. 

No, you will receive a 25-hour Acro immersion certificate upon completion of this course. If you are not enrolled in the 300-hour training, this certification is worth 25 CEUs (continuing education credits) through Yoga Alliance.

No, this training is a practice intensive. So while you will dive deep into the practice of Acro, the practicum of teaching Acro will not be covered.

Taylor Johnson

PROGRAM MANAGER

Taylor Johnson (Base) is the Program & Yoga Quality Manager at SOL 19 Yoga and is an E-RYT 500. Taylor completed her Level 1 and Level 2 AcroVinyasa training with Claudine and Honza LaFond in Bali, Indonesia. Taylor is also certified in Power Vinyasa, HOT, Rocket Yoga, Ashtanga, and Yin. Collectively she has over 1200 hours of yoga related training.
