300 HOUR ADVANCED STUDIES
YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
Join Tam Burke, Taylor Johnson and guest teachers on a journey into the practice of yoga.
Our 300 hour module-based Teacher Training program is designed for teachers and dedicated practitioners to take the next step in their training and expand further upon their yoga journey. Get ready to dive deep into the art of advanced teaching, sequencing & assisting, in-depth pranayama & meditation, energy work, yogic texts, integrated yoga anatomy, and so much more. This training is a guide to help you step into your power, find your voice, connect with your higher self, and feel empowered as a leader and teacher.
Within our modular system, there are required core modules that are offered over 6-weekends throughout the year. Outside of these modules you have the autonomy to choose your own path of education to complete your training hours based on what inspires you most. Selecting at minimum one elective from elements of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air you will have ample opportunity to balance your practice, and finish our program at your pace.
The elective modules of this training are to be completed within two years from the start date. If this isn’t possible with your schedule, please reach out to our YTT staff at YTT@sol19yoga.com.
Upon completion of training, students with 200HR certification through Yoga Alliance will be eligible to register as 500HR RYT.
At SOL we firmly believe in providing the highest quality education possible for our teachers and students. Our training is facilitated by highly trained and experienced yoga teachers, and professionals within their respective field of work and study. Tam and Tay are the lead facilitators of our 300 hour program. They are joined by a team of guest teachers, all of which are masters in their field, E-RYT 500, or have doctorate degrees.

120 remaining hours are to be completed through your elective courses. Complete at least one module from each element found above, multiple electives may be taken from the same element.
No, to take the 300 hour program you will need previous yoga teacher training experience.
As this is a modular 300 hour program total tuition pricing will vary. Total tuition will average at about $4,000 depending on the elective path you choose. 10% discounts are available for 300-hour trainees on all elective modules of Fire, Earth, Water, Air. Early Bird prices are applicable for this 10% discount, and will be the most cost effective approach to your tuition.

Your Teaching Team
Tamara is a Co-Owner of SOL 19 and an E-RYT 500. Tamara completed training with Charlotte Yoga in Charlotte, NC and Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, India. Tamara has completed trainings in Power Vinyasa, Rocket, Ashtanga, Yin, Meditation and other modalities, collectively she has over 1000 hours of yoga related trainings to draw inspiration from.
Taylor Johnson is the Yoga Quality and Programming Manager at SOL 19 and is an E-RYT 500. Taylor completed training with CorePower in Denver, CO and with Bodhi Yoga Academy under Irene Pappas and
Sam Vetrano in Costa Rica. Taylor is trained in Power Vinyasa, Acro Vinyasa, Rocket Yoga, Ashtanga, Buti Yoga, and Yin. Collectively she has over 1500 hours of yoga related trainings.
Keri Wenzel is an E-RYT 500. She studied under Tom Quinn, Quinn Kearny, Geri Bleier, and Claire Mark at Yoga view Chicago. Her trainings have focused on human anatomy, proper alignment, safe adjustments & assists, as well as yoga philosophy & meditation. Through continued training, and in becoming a mother herself, Keri has a deep love and passion for teaching prenatal yoga.
Dr. Ben Williams
Dr. Ben Williams is a scholar of Indian religions and an Assistant Professor of Yoga Studies and Hinduism at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. He has also received extensive training in Indian philosophy, literature, and aesthetics in Sanskrit sources. Ben completed his PhD in the Department of South Asian Studies at Harvard University. Since arriving at Naropa University, he has helped launch an MA program in Yoga Studies, and currently serves as the program lead.
INTRO TO AYURVEDA & ADVANCED BACKBENDS
Malia has a Bachelors of Exercise Science with a concentration in Health Promotion. She is also an RYT 500 and discovered one of the oldest healthcare systems in the world, Ayurveda. Malia is a Women’s Ayurvedic Practitioner and Ayurvedic chef. Along with Ayurveda, she incorporates other modalities such as, Arvigo’s self-care, Mayan Abdominal Massage, doula work, and cacao ceremonies. Malia additionally has 30 hours in the Back-bending Method from LAAIC.
