Twelve years ago, Tuqui found yoga and it quickly became a lifestyle. Yoga was a tool she used to heal from lost connections, grief, and insecurities. The power of healing and connection to her inner world is what still brings her to the mat every day.
Tuqui is a 500-hour certified Yoga teacher and a Rocket Vinyasa teacher (level 2). She sticks to a daily routine of Ashtanga, Rocket, or handstands practice and combines it with meditation, breath work, and journaling.
Tuqui invests time and energy into her classes. She empowers her students through dynamic and challenging asana practices and encourages them to dig deeper to discover their strengths and areas of improvement. Her goal is for her students to face their fears, push through discomfort, and find acceptance and resilience in the process.
Besides her love for yoga and teaching, Tuqui loves to travel the world, finding new places, and meeting new people. She finds joy in being near any body of water, particularly the beach.
No! This practice, while challenging, is accessible to all-levels of practitioners. We encourage students to modify their Ashtanga practice in any way they need or want to.
